so I drop my bags in surprise
my mouth falling open
that you are now restored
to what others call normalcy
and behind you coming to meet me
yes, they all, coming to meet me
one, tall, with a baby in her hands
behind her, the father
and another, small, with a child holding her hand
behind her, that child's father
and behind them one, silver-haired
I would weep
