Koshy, I am really moved - no disturbed, by Krithika's essay. The picture she has painted is uncomfortably true. Her writing creates a very real scene and given that it is an 'insider' perspective it is very disturbing. I appreciate this writing on two counts - the ability it has had to make the scenes and life of young Bangalore so vivid, and the courage that the writer has to be different from the acceptred 'cool' crowd and write about it. It speaks of a 'safe atmosophere' in your class.
